August is the month where people enjoy summer festivals in Japan. I am not a big fan of those festivals, so I seldom go to see or join it. However, there was one that I had to join, which is a part of my job. On the 9th, there was a NEBUTA parade in the town where I work for. I usually try to avoid participating in it as much as I can, but my escape from it this year wasn’t successful. Our ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) who is from U.S.A joined the festival, so it was a kind of my duty to go with her since I am supposed to be her supervisor.
